A Wine Tasting and App Meetup will be held at VickieÃ?Â's house in North Easton at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 28. You must have already met Vickie or Alda to participate and there is a limit of 10 members for this event. If more than 10 want to attend, preference will be given to paid members and those without any 'no shows'. Address and directions will be given to those attending at a later date. For the first wine tasting meetup we are going to start off with a tasting of California wines. Bring your favorite red or white California wine along with an appropriate appetizer that enhances the flavor of your wine selection (ex, chocolate, cheese, nuts, etc.). If this event turns out to be popular, we can expand it to sample other growing areas, years wine was bottled, etc., at the next meetup (suggestions are welcome). It would be great if we could have an even number of red and white wines for this tasting, so please state if you plan on bringing a red or white in the comment section of your RSVP. DonÃ?Â't say what type wine you are bringing, only the color. We will cover all the wines, so we can have blind taste tests. Come and join the fun. Deadline for sign up is February 24.
